Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia clash on Saturday night and Francisco Fonseca knows both pack a punch.

In 2017, on the undercard of the super fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, Fonseca and Tank went head-to-head in Las Vegas.

Davis had previously held the IBF super featherweight world title, but was stripped after missing weight and so the belt was only on the line for Fonseca.

The Nicaraguan was unable to take advantage of the opportunity, as he was KO'd in the eighth round, although the stoppage came under controversial circumstances.

Fonseca was hit with what he calls an 'illegal blow' to the back of the head that sent him down, although Davis claims he was already hurt from an earlier body shot, but either way the result left a bad taste in the mouths of boxing fans who booed in the arena after the result was announced.

Three years later, Fonseca came up against Garcia and this time, the result was much more conclusive.

Halfway through round one, Garcia landed his signature left hook to the chin of his opponent, which left Fonseca laid out on his back on the canvas and unable to continue.

In the crowd were social media stars turned boxers, Jake and Logan Paul, and both brothers were clearly stunned by the brutal KO.

Ahead of Saturday night's super fight, Fonseca has been speaking to Supreme Boxing and he gave a prediction, saying: "Ryan has strengthened a lot, and the distance, I think, will affect Gervonta. But it's 50-50.

"If I have to lean towards someone, I think Garcia. I'm inclined because if he can manage to keep the rhythm of fighting for 12 rounds."

Fonseca also called for a rematch with both men, as he said: "It would be a dream to face Gervonta or either of them again to erase that bad image we had.

"Hopefully, the best man wins, and we can enjoy a real fight in the ring."

Fonseca's prediction is indicative of many people's view of the Las Vegas glamour fight, with others struggling to have a clear winner, except for Jermall Charlo, who bet $10,000 on Garcia.

Davis, though, told Garcia he plans to break his jaw.

"All he talks about is that one punch," he said in reference to the hook that has floored so many. "I only need one, too. I touch that jaw and I'm telling you: you're going to sleep. I'm going to break your jaw, I promise you. Don't even bring your mother or your daughter."
